Art From the Heart of Coopersville Area Public Schools

Art From the Heart of C.A.P.S. is a program designed to recognize young artists and heighten community awareness of Coopersville studentsĖ talents. Students are the "heart" of Coopersville Area Public Schools and this program provides works of art from students to be leased for a period of one year by area business owners and patrons who lease the art. The money generated from the leasing portion of this program is used to fund the next yearĖs cost of matting, framing, postage, printing of flyers and invitations, and for the reception. Thanks to the generous bids of last yearĖs patrons, we were able to increase the number of student art pieces this year. We look forward to many bids this coming September. These bids will successfully fund the 2004 program and will once again recognize the talent of our students.

ArtServe Michigan has collaborated with the GovernorĖs office to make this exhibit possible before our leasing process begins in September. We are truly grateful for the support of Art From the Heart of CAPS by both ArtServe Michigan and the Governor. Coopersville art students are extremely honored to have had their work selected for this exhibit.
